Accountabilities

  • Liaise with nominated major Supply Chain clients for all daily UK and destination logistics arrangements including management reporting requirements whilst acting as the central point of contact to ensure that all service is professionally rendered in line with the client's Standard Operating Procedures
  • Act as a Coordinator between the various Asian origins and UK Clients' teams/third party haulage contractors and respond to queries arising from colleagues effectively and in a timely manner
  • Make recommendations to the Customer Service Manager for service improvements or further business expansion opportunities and highlight service failings by third party contractors
  • Attend review meetings with the Clients at their nominated offices or Distribution Centre(s)
  • Ensure that customers are audited and invoiced in a timely manner for services provided
  • Ad hoc customer projects as required 

 

Requirements

  • A Level or above
  • 2 years relevant work experience in logistics / supply chain management. Candidates with less experience showing good potentials will also be considered
  • Proficient in PC skill in MS Excel
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
  • Highly motivated, display initiative, attentive to details with good time management
