We are pleased to announce that OOCL Logistics has been recognized as “Provider of the Year 2017” in the trucking category by Target, at the Target Store 2018 Asia Logistics Partners Summit on July 18 in Shenzhen, China. This is the third significant award in a row that OOCL Logistics has received from Target Stores since the establishment of our strategic partnership in 2011. The award recognizes OOCL Logistics’ capability and flexibility in providing Target with the highest quality service, as well as our commitment to maintaining those high standards in the future.
Over the past 7 years, OOCL Logistics has been a trustworthy strategic trucking partner of Target Stores and our relationship has grown consistently since being named as their South China trucking partner in 2011. Satisfied with our high level of performance, service coverage, and our supply chain expertise, Target Stores continues to expand the areas OOCL Logistics covers across North China and other regions around the globe, such as Vietnam, Cambodia and Indonesia.
Commenting at the award presentation, Target executives said that: “OOCL Logistics consistently delivered excellent performance across Target’s 10 direct trucking markets with achievement of 99% network-wide on-time performance and closed the year with a 100% order acceptance rate.” OOCL Logistics deeply understands Target’s goals and needs of supply chain agility, reliability and continuous improvement. OOCL Logistics proactively and regularly shares market intelligence with Target Stores so that more accurate strategic initiatives can be made, and greater success can be achieved every year. By keeping to the mission of helping our customers make “All the Right Moves”, OOCL Logistics supports Target Stores and turns problems into opportunities. Last year, we successfully offered additional trucking resources for their needs during peak season and Chinese Lunar New Year. We were also given the opportunity to handle Target’s shipments during the 2017 BRICS Summit held in Xiamen.
